The challenge is for technical institutions working in the domain of Augmented Reality and Machine Learning to develop a mobile application to solve the training and awareness challenges of the moderately literate customers and business correspondents (banking agents) – More can be checked here
This challenge is sponsored by Grameen Foundation India to come up with prototypes and a final application to achieve the objectives as mentioned in the RFP document
Any institution which can develop the mobile application with the AR and ML capability to solve the challenge mentioned in the RFP document and is willing to transfer the ownership of the prototypes and final application to Grameen Foundation India. An experience of at least three years of developing such application in the financial services industry will be preferred, a working experience in the Financial Inclusion space will be highly preferred.

For our current requirement, we are looking for application development institutions only. You can apply to be a speaker for our webinar or a mentor for the project. Please share your interest through the form below.
- The proposed solution through detailed .Pdf proposal and PPT presentation, understanding of the assignment, inclusion and explanation on the points mentioned in the RFP will contribute to 60% and the budget will contribute to the rest 40% of the evaluation criteria
- Success full applicants that will score more than 60% on the evaluation parameters will be contacted and considered for the first round of discussion and presentation to the expert panel, constituted by the Grameen Foundation India team.
- Applicants scoring more than 80% in the above stage will be considered for the budget and approach negotiation, if required and will move to the next stage of prototyping
- A total of INR 1 lakh will be given to each of the top five applicants using which the institutions will have to develop a working prototype application along with a human-centred design expert/agency provided by the Grameen Foundation India team
- One/Two selected agencies will be onboarded by the Grameen Foundation India team to develop the live application and will be provided with a fund to do so.
The last date of the proposal submission to GFI is 23rd August 2021
Are international institutions allowed to participate in the process?
Under the current requirement, we are looking forward to working with entities registered in India only.
